Make the build in practice sim not reset to normal on each run. Its quite annoying when scouting.

Great, thanks for this thread Brock.
Give us all you've got folks! I already have loads of these noted down from earlier threads like this, so no need to re-suggest ideas you've put forward before.
Write down anything from small annoyances (like the one from Kodiak) up to bigger revolutionary ideas. Some of the bigger ones (like 3D animations and the like..) probably wont be added unless someone is swimming in money though...

Practice fights : Being able to optionally toggle off stoppages by DQ would be good .
if the people that do this are busy could the game itself auto-generate simple tournaments ?
Awards for various managerial things ( with medals ? ) : best rookie , most damaging manager ETC.
Big red help button : Hard to miss , 1 press takes you to assistance ( type/method to be decided ) . Should be optional as may annoy some players ?
KP Sissies to have chin hard coded to 5 . Just because

Obvious , graphical links to social media - with active , vibrant FB page/group if we can manage it ( again going to suggest looking at B2G's for that for inspiration , even if it isnt as active as might be ideal )

1. I'd think about monetization the game in some way without breaking its free status and sports fairness
I'd for sure make a special region with one weight class where fights would run on dayly basis. Allow all managers run 1 fighter in it to make numbers and buy more if you wish, 1 $ each for example. Pav made a good stuff with his tournies- everyone may put some money to form a prize pool, the winner/best of donators takes it all with the exception of small rake. Everybody is happy, the owner has some money to improve the game.
2. I always did like Boz idea to make rookies region under regular regions, they could start with 60 APs and their 70 APs champions might be allowed to promote into regular regions.

Like the 60 AP idea too ( assuming IP/AP loss is off before 70 and something is done so they do actually get fights ) .
or
if the rookie's region hasnt got enough people to make it work short term could ( genuinely ) beginner gyms be tagged by the game so if there's another green player to fight at their status they get them and only if not do they fight more experienced guys ( so they get a mix of bouts they can win and ones they can learn from )

Maybe we need a revamp of the press release area? Specifically regionals.
Just spit balling here but what if when you go to talk your trash you can choose to select the previous opponent or the next opponent (if its been scheduled) and that manager would get notified via a flag or something on their gym page of said press release?
I think most pay attention to the forums and contenders area....maybe revival. But I don't think near enough pay attention to WBA, WBC and WBO areas (I am guilty here).
Maybe something like this would help participation in these press releases?

Anyone remember the old Mike Tyson game 'Punch Out!!'
My suggestion is a sort of mini game like that in WeBL for partly fun/partly rookie manager training.
A much simpler WeBL version of course. Add a link which would take you to a screen that would bring you against your first opponent (think something like 'Glass Joe', a super easy guy anyone could beat within a try or two). Our version of 'Glass Joe' would be something like a simple 4/8/8 or 5/7/8 plan. No graphics, just a page where you are introduced to your first opponent and given a chance to put in a fight plan.
The second guy in Punch Out was 'Piston Hurricane'. Our version might have a 3 line fp that started with something like 7/5/8 and went from there.
The idea through the progression would be to introduce the rookie manager to all different types of boxers and plans that would get progressively harder. Some of the game's top managers could contribute and possibly even add fp's. We could even have some of the top fighters in the mini game named after the best players to have played the game and are willing to contribute something. Great for rookies, it would also sort of immortalize those contributing players (even further).
This would help with the 'I want to play NOW' mentality for new players who don't want to wait a week for their first fight. It would also be good training and even be fun for current managers in the game.

Not sure I like the rookies at 60APs idea. Isnt it a bit harder to create good fighters if you only have 60APs to distribute? I might be wrong, it seems like you'd need a little experience and it'd be a bit too difficult for rookies though.
PR notifications : Had that suggestion before, and think I'm going to go with some sort of tagging feature, so you can tag managers/fighters in a PR, and they will be notified.
Sanlu Arhat's mini-game idea : Something similar has been suggested before, definitely going to create something like that, not quite settled on how yet.
I think I'll stay out of this thread for the most part, it'll be most valuable to me if you guys discuss among yourself about what you want implemented. I'll only pop in to say if anything is impossible, or if we have already decided for/against something
Good stuff guys, keep it coming.

Kodiak I like your point about PR's.
I think there are only a few who do it, me being one of them. And so what if I rarely make sense, at least I have a crack;)
I am in a WT winning gyms Tourny and no-one says jack-shit! Some-times I feel like it's a waste of time but if I stop there will go about a quarter of PR's gone. I call out the biggest gyms to the detriment of myself sometimes but if I don't it feels like an empty win/loss. Jeez I congratulate the other gym if he Wins even if he ignores my PR's.
You can change every-thing but if there isn't some kinda back n forth banter between gyms it could become a little blandish, you may as well be fighting a Bot gym.
Anyway, my 2 cents.

A 'like' button,an add friend button,a 'chat/personal message option.
Some people don't post, some people play the game and go un-noticed.A 'like' button or chat/personal message option could be useful. You have a new gym who doesn't post BUT 'likes' a load of press releases or forum posts..he gets noticed,he gets a response,he feels included,he strikes up a conversation,he joins a clan,he learns the game quicker = he sticks around !!!
Even when numbers were thriving,I always felt there was a 'core' of players who posted in the forums or press but so many more played without ever posting.Feeling like part of the community helps players stick around.
The more ways we can interact with 'friends' or get to know new/unknown managers can only help player numbers.

Some kinda career mode region, for non WT winners and managers with SAY less than 10 RTs.
Up to 20 fights as an amateur using normal fighters at 70 APs (no AP loss or gain,no IPs) and normal fight format. (this gives new managers the chance to learn the game with no penalties)
After the max number of Amateur fights the fighter gets 2 options = retire/promote.
If the fighter promotes,he can chose to join either WBA/WBC/WBO.

Plan with intent for a "Webl Welcoming Crew" type system, where new signups generate notification that can be pulled for mentors.
Perhaps having a checkbox for whether or not a manager wants to be available as a mentor? (Perhaps not until after first World Title?)
Update the stock fight plans that come with the gyms to be more thorough, and with better description.

The more I play under the current different regions/organisations, I think going back to some form of geographical regions makes the most sense.
I also play Soccer Manager. One of the things you can do on there is to schedule friendlies when there are no fixtures for that day.
It doesn't have an impact on your players stats, or staminas. If you could arrange non-sanctioned fights (No IP's or AP losses) with other managers, and in other weight classes, that could be good. Call it sparring, whatever. Graduated fighters could fight BK fighters, could fight regional fighters.
Set the rounds (4, 6, 8, 12, 15 etc) set the rules (BK, amateur, standard) and go for it. Graduated fighters could fight BK fighters. Just send a sparring invite with the rules the fight would be under and the date to the other manager, and wait for him to accept.
You could display it on the main page like now, or have another tab or set of fights that are under "sparring".
I think it would be a great way to get more fights in for rookies, settle some grudges with other fighters/managers, have some catchweight fights etc, all without actually having an impact on your fighters stats.
Good managers could teach the new guys by setting up a fight with them, then showing them how it all went down, and it would also be a quick way to practice.

Instead of the...
Super Weights: Super Welterweight, Super Lightweight, Super Featherweight, etc.
Have the...
Junior Weights: Junior Middleweight, Junior Welterweight, Junior Lightweight, etc.
Then again, this may just be my preference.

Gotta say, the first thing I would be inclined to look at would be - after the latest round of changes are in - the financial aspect. I think the idea earlier re. daily fights for payers has merit. I also think we should have P2P tournies too. Winners get, say, 80% of the pot and the remaining 20% goes to the site for development.
As much as we hate to think otherwise, it's often about the money, honey.

Sanlu Arhat Boxing Academy's idea is just great imo. We've already got these sparring partners, but they ain't that interesting. There could be a system of different sparring partners (a ropists, a clincher etc) with different level FPs, from 1 to 10. So the goal is- to beat them all on all levels. Great learning for rookies on real time basis.

Besides my other ideas already exposed in the "dull" thread about rookie progression levels, medals and so on I was thinking too that:
1) Rookie Clan: Rookies should be integrated immediately after their inscription in a Rookie Clan (I suppose that in the future forum we will have a rookie section for answers, archives and so on, the clan will be hidden section just for rookies). What's te point? First of all being integrated as fast as possible in the webl community, exchange with others and participate to activities but, above all, not leave the rookie alone with all fp/build/scouting problems thinking about suicide because his webl life is a mess. Rookie Clan will have a President, a webl veteran that will be the expert and will have "the keys of the club", and a captain, the oldest rookie that will be involved in helping the President in organizing tournaments, keep rookies interested... Which activities for Rookie Clan? Being crushed in Clan wars (nothing new but in this way rookies can be part of something, learn another way to play...), have a section in weblsnews site/forum section (maybe we'll have a rookie with passion for journalism or writing?) with newbies records, exploits, the "rookie fight of the week", the "rookie bad beat of the month"... Maybe organize "Rookie Clan Challenge" where the rookie clan challenges another Clan, a 1vs1 clan match, as like team chess games, with 3 or 5 managers. Rookies will have the advantage that every win (if one) will take 2 points, just 1 for the experience Clan and the "Main Event", where, always like in chess there's the 'first board' for the strongest players, 2 clan's strongest players, chosen by the captain of the team (the president for the rookie clan), will fight. Main Event will give 4 points to the rookie. So if there're 5 players we will have 5 fights and 5 points at stack for veterans and 11 (8 points for regular fights and 3 for the main event) for rookies. Rookies Clan can win if they win the main event+1 fight or winning 2 regular fights. If rookies win only the main event than the Clan Challenge will be a draw. The challenge for veterans is to absolutely win the Main Event to prevent the draw and then win at least 2 other fights. In the best of all possible worlds we could have a lot of new players, then it could be fun to have 2 rookie clans (with good names, something to be proud of being part of), rookies can be part in only one of them, and have a rookie clan challenge every 3 months like the oxford-cambridge rivalry.
2) About new site design I would like a button where I can go back to the fighter once I write advanced fp, not just the "edit" option. Now to go back to my fighter I have to go to "active fighters" again.
3) Translation in other languages: English is a wonderful language but it would be good to let the game (and help pages) being translated in other languages, and I think that spanish would be a very good choice (I can help with italian obviously and maybe in french).
4) Reopen the rookie region and discuss about bot gyms, ops maybe I've already say that...
PS Mines are just ideas that I write just as they came to my mind, I will be not upset if you take just a little part of them or consider all of them as crap

I haven't read all the above suggestions, but a better practice/sparring/sim that's easier to use for newer managers so they can catch on quickly. Perhaps have one of each build with a simple but standard fp for every weightclass. Also a way to save fp's in the advanced sim itself without having to create it in your fp library...

I think IE reloads the page when you go back, so it wipes the stats.
At one time I used IE, and after setting my fighters' training and FP, I went back to the gym page with the browser's back-button, and it refreshed the page everytime.

Tested it now, IE11, using the back button does not reset anything. IE has improved alot last 3-4 years, one of the best browsers around now (IE 10+. Microsofts next browser, "Spartan", the replacement for IE11, is looking very solid indeed).
Cuts and build is reset in the form below the fight after you've clicked "Generate report", but that probably happens in every browser.

In game money should be able to 'purchase' flare for the game. Wether that be a badge, a shiny star next to your name, something that would make people want to invest in getting a certain amount of money. So on and so fourth.

Rotmo,
Ok, I used IE8 I think. Haven't touched IE in "private" since maybe -02, but because of corporate crap, I have had to use IE at work computers and naturally, a version that is stable (=old) enough for the company...

I hope the computer department at your work wakes up soon, IE8 wont be supported, and wont receive any security updates after Jan 12th 2016. Time to upgrade!
Highly recommend trying IE11. IE has a (well-deserved) bad reputation, but the dark days are behind them and they deserve some recognition for catching up to their competitors. Not my standard browser, too stuck in Firefox/Chrome-land for that, but its a very very good browser. I tend to use it if I'm streaming TV/YouTube/etc on my small 4-years old laptop, as its much better than Firefox/Chrome for Flash-stuff (video stutters on Firefox/Chrome).

Well, I said "have had to", because things are looking up. On my new work-computer (acquired Aug -14), I have a brand-spanking-new-browser IE9!!!!
But since a while back, we have also had the privilege of getting other browsers too, so this is written in Chrome 40. Also have FF.
You know, big ships turn slowly, a corporate that has a five-digit number of employees needs to have some sort of "order" in their tech I guess...
Personally I prefer Opera on my own laptop. Just like the feel of it, which is the most important thing to me, since all the latest browsers can handle most of the same things anyway.

Big difference between IE9 and IE8, so congrats! Weird that they only went to IE9 though, nothing unstable about IE10 or 11. They both have the compatibility mode, which is sometimes needed on some companies' intranet. I dont know too much about weird reasons for these corporate decisions though, might be sensible for all I know.
But yay Opera, Norwegian quality right there Same engine as Chrome, fast, and some very good features.

Well the Intra is one reason for IE most certainly.
And I think the decision making process is just SO SLOW on these big companies, that when the new computers we're decided to be bought, nothing newer than IE8 wasn't yet on the "lets install on every computer" -list.

Wont be long before they have to do that entire process all over again though, when IE9-support is inevitably stopped by Microsoft Just put "latest stable version" instead of "IE8/9" on that list. Lol corporate
Hopefully they'll have at least Windows 10 and Spartan (next version after IE11) on that list next time though. Thats an "evergreen" browser (auto-updated every month or 2, separately from the OS, like Chrome/Firefox/Opera is), so they'll be good-to-go for a long time.

i've another request: would it be possible to have a checkmark besides fp? Something like a green checkmark when you have confirmed a fp (something like an ok button) or a red one when you didn't? I don't know how other managers do, but increasing the number of fighters in my gym, sometimes I forget if I've already scouted/confirmed my fp for a fight and I do it again waisting stupidly my time, a checkmark would help ^^

Geographically based titles which can be contested between fighters at any level. These could be city, national, and super regional (commonwealth, continental americas). When vacant, they would be contested by the two highest rated fighters registed in the relevant city/county/country/region. You could opt in or out of contesting these, and at the simplest level, the scheduler would always aim to make title bouts first, before sorting out the rest of the weight division (WTs and RTs would of course take precendence). There could be rules about how long a fighter who didn't find a defence could hold before the title was declared vacant (perhaps it would only be declared vacant if a title fight could be made at lower or higher level, and the champ had been unable to defend for a month).

i agree with sammy regarding regional titles
the whole ranking system needs to be geographical like before, but instead of having a 2 tier system such as regionals and contenders...have 3 instead
have regionals then move on to continental, then only continental champions would move to contenders.
because lets be real, not all managers can win world titles but to have the ability to get a fighter a continental title (differnet color star for each continental title) would be a quite respectable accomplishment.
then contenders would only be for continental winners.
it would also be neat to see the different continental winner star colours behind each fighters name lighting up the world rankings.

Bump. Let's keep the ideas flowin here!
Just going to ramble off a few I have for the sake of discussion and without regard of whether it's actually possible to implement:
1. Mandatory Defenses - #1 and #2 automatically scheduled
2. Change up the language of endurance markers and injuries at the end of each round.
3. Body injuries and add "if bodyinj > x" conditional
4. Slightly wider range of scoring deviation. Random (Non-WT bonus?) corruption.
5. Strength based non-KP fighters can load up in they choose to do so in 2 rounds per fight. Attribute change: (- Scoring/+ KP). KP bonus scaled by status
6. Training games for attribute bonuses throughout the week (Non-WT bonus?)
7. Ring Rust (anti-ducking measure)
8. In-game messaging feature
9. Integrated Simbot
10. Chess rankings

An improved practice fight sim might help new gyms stick.
For instance: Welcome to WeBL. Your gym is open - you better get your fighters to work, they'll be competing next week!
And then have an intuitive way for them to create opponents that come with simple fight plans for their newly made fighters spar against.
If they create a middleweight - you could instruct the "gym equipment manager" or something to find a middleweight off the street to spar with.
It'd get new managers in the ring right away in a simple manner - and once they're in...well yeah. We're all here right?
These tools exist now, but unless you are familiar with WeBL - it's not that simple.

Lots of good ideas in here. I'd love it if you could see your fighter's build and AP's by hovering your cursor over his name. Also if you clicked on a fighter to see his build and his record or bio were on that same page. Finally I've seen this idea before but a little notes section for each fighter would be really handy.

This is not a huge thing, and if someone already talked about, I apologize.
I've noticed this since I first started playing the game in 2000: When you go to the scheduled fights, whether it be regional or World Title fights, you automatically know if the challenger has won the fight because he has a gold start next to his name (or blue start for regional title fight) and it's always been very anticlimactic when you already know the outcome. The only exception has been if both fighters have already won WT's/Regional Titles.

Change the currently meaningless purse system. Start tracking the number of views of a fight from different IP addresses, and allow hype to build up, leading to bigger purses. This would encourage the smack wars, discussion threads and newspaper articles that make the game so much more engaging beyond watching your own fighters. If you have an exciting fight, you'll want to pimp it, and if lots of people watch, your purse next time is bigger. You could sort upcoming fights based on purse size and hype levels, and people would start to go there looking for exciting fighters, so it would be a virtuous cycle. It would mean the genuine Big Fights (Who vs Sweetness) would make even more impact, and that can favourites could stay in the spotlight well past their sell by date, just like in real boxing

Could there ever be random number generation in plans ?
something like ( just for example )
let a = 1 to 3
if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 1 then 5h/11/4 if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 2 then 6/7/7 if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 3 then 12/1/7
or even a cointoss
if toss = head then .....
Not expecting this to likely fly but always wanted it so thought would at least give it a mention

Indeed something for you to spend your winnings on would be great, here are some idea's...
Consumables used everytime you train: (Start each gym off with a couple for free)
Punching Bag for gym unlocks training Conditioning Speed Bag for gym unlocks training Speed Jump Ropes for gym unlocks agility Chin up bar for Chin lol Dumbells for Strength so on so forth
Money to pay doctor bills: Your fighter gets a fractured jaw he needs to go to the hospital to recover...
Expanding the gym to make it bigger and let you run more fighters
Spend cash to issue a press release for a fight. Spend cash to advertise for your upcoming fight.
(Hype level of fight effects the purse...l)
Spend Cash to recruit a slugger sparing partner with X amount of plans spend cash to buy more plans for slugger sparing partner
Spend Cash to recruit a Ropist Sparing Partner etc etc....
Spend Cash to get a fight more for higher status but not beyond the status of the fighter. Only equal status fights gains AP for a win as normal....
if your Status 18 bid for a chance at a Regional title fight and add the bid too the purse.
If your status 28 Bid for a chance at a World Title fight and add the bid too the purse.
Just a few idea's on what you could do with the money....

I'm opposed to using winnings to gain any sort of advantage. It'd make it harder for newbies, so if this was introduced, it would at least have to be done very gradually and very carefully.
Purely cosmetic stuff could be done though. Though I cant think of any ideas on that at the moment.

some of this stuff is very interesting but could add to the time it takes a manager to do their WEBLing for their day if each boxer needs the player to do more things , each thing can be not much but add up significantly if you run many fighters ( and yeah this is the box2glory playing part of me speaking again , these concerns may or may not be valid here ) .
Optional is fine as long as it doesnt disadvantage the person who opts not too ( and purely cosmetic stuff could be good/great if there's time to code/design it ) .

It is not 1999, so the website should not look like it is from 1999. The HTML code is severely outdated which has negative effects for the website when it comes to search engine rankings and the possibility that browsers will stop supporting deprecated code (there could be code currently that is not supported by browsers). A face lift would certainly make WEBL look more appealing to potential new users. The screenshots of the potential new design/layout looks very appealing.
Paid content should not be put in a game with such a niche market that features less than 1,000 active users. I have developed a few text based web games in the past and having premium content is one of the things I would do differently. My most successful game being a pro wrestling game that had over 2,000 members with the most active users at one time being 250-350. I am under the belief that having paid content stunts possible growth for a web based text game in a niche market. Web based text games are in a niche market to begin with.

I don't know if this has been brought up before. If so my applogies, this thread is too long to sift thru.
When looking at Gym Rankings it would be nice to see that information presented over a period of time. Like being able to see how your win%, earnings and whatnots have changed over the last 30, 60, or 180 days? Maybe over an entire year?
Chart format would be nice. Being able to see that visually over the short and long term would be great.
I think that would be useful for everyone.
I'd bet your already looking at something like this though.

I am indeed, and something like that might even be done earlier than WeBL 2.0.
Fight Club231 :
They werent suggesting paid content, as in dollars out of your pocket. They were suggesting using the imaginary money from fight purses. Regarding the paid content in your game : Were players able to buy advantages in the actual game, or was it just cosmetic stuff? We are actually thinking about adding some cosmetic stuff, just as an incentive for people to donate money to the game-owner.
(btw : use the small "PayPal Donate"-button on this page y'all. Do it now, Bruce deserves it).

The paid features were cosmetic only. Nothing to affect game play.

Can we have total h2h record vs manager right along side our fighters next matchup? Or at least a link right next to said opponent to take us directly there?
Fighter or gym page....doesn't matter.

How about something which notifies you if you get scheduled a bout outside what would normally get scheduled that day? Today is Friday, and someone unretired a bantamweight, which means that I suddenly have a Bantam title fight. Today is when Superlight-Superwelter get scheduled, so it was only chance that I saw it. Maybe a red link at the top that says "unusual scheduling today", which you can click to find the out of the ordinary fights?

How about if we keep it simple for now? We are giving so many ideas and I think at best only a few could be implemented.

Star :
No, keep the ideas coming. Now is the absolute best time for it. This way I can implement lots of them while programming the whole thing, which in some cases can be alot easier than implementing new ideas *after* the rest is finished.
I'm keeping a list of all ideas. If its a small thing or a feature which will undoubtedly help : It has a very good chance of going right in. If its something bigger, or something which needs to be discussed, I'll start a discussion on it when the time comes.

Obviously this is not a popularity thread but I just wanted to say that Kodiaks suggestions are all spot on they are simple things that have always annoyed us all about webl and they don't really change the game..... So Kudos Kodiak for hitting all the nails on the head....
If Webl 2.0 is nothing more then Kodiaks changes with Rotmo's chess rankings then its a huge leap forward and would be pretty awesome!
However I think a step by step fight / fight plan tutorial before you even get into your gym would be huge. Keep a link to the tutorial so new gyms can constantly reference it and do it over and over and make it simple but yet advanced.... (Meaning)
Put them in the mindset that they are fighting 1 round at a time and give them real fight conditionals that are more advanced type conditionals for choices and explain them like an A. B. C. D. and after they choose the conditional the round runs and they see the result... Rinse and repeat this process for 12 rounds till the fight is over....
By Seeing More advanced code then you can just cut and paste out of the fight plan creator maybe more new managers will be able to piece together their own FP's by referencing the tutorial they would all go thru.... So in a way like Simbot meets Tutorial...

So an example of the tuturial would be
Rnd 1
A)4B/8/8; (The most efficient fight line in the game balancing 4 aggression 8 power and 8 defense allows your fighter to get the most use of energy by not tiring himself out by punching to much and at the same time dealing out a healthy amount of endurance damage to your opponent)
Outcome loss's round but is winning endurance war
B)7/1/12 (outside); (This fight line totally gives up all power behind the punches to allow your fighter to punch more often and have greater defense this is a good line to jump out to an early lead by points and if your fighter has a height advantage the outside style will increase your speed and agility, at the cost of some power, but your not using any power anyway.)
Outcome Wins round by points
C) 1/1/18 (ring); (This is a totally defensive fight line basically your fighter is going to cover up maximizing his defense at all times, very useful way of opening a fight vrs an opponent you have never fought before and his fighter has no fight history to scout or indeed you have scouted and found out he likes to start a fight trying to knock out his opponents)
Outcome loss's round by points
D) 6/6/8 (counter); (This is a somewhat balanced fight line that should be used only if you know you have a speed and height advantage [This style increases your agility and decreases your opponents agility, at the cost of some aggression. It is based on how much more speed and height you have than your opponent. If your speed and height are less than your opponents, it may work against you.] your fighter is indeed taller but is he faster???
Outcome win's round 10-8 for stun and points
Then step them into round 2 where the Conditionals get more complex (note I am just grabbing any old conditionals out of my FP's they likely wont make sense at this point of the tutorial lol)
(Show them a score based conditional exerpt)
A)if score > 0 then 4/1/15 (outside); if score = 0 then 4B/8/8 if score < 0 then 7/1/12 (outside);
(Show them a Mix Bag) B)if score < round - 9 and score < 1 then 7/6/7 (counter) if opp < 2 and endurance_percent > 66 then 5B/9/6 (counter) if 2 * hiscuts > round and score > -2 then 5C/8/7 (counter)
C)(Show them a stun based conditonal exerpt)
D)(Show them an Enduranced based conditional exerpts)
And then on to round 3 etc, holding there hand and explaining in greater detail as the rounds progress...

hopefully going to step by step and showing them there is more then one way to write a FP and also explaining styles as you go thru the tutorial will make it all register in a way thats more logical because they see the immediate result and then they can just access it at anytime by click on the tutorial Link to walk themselves thru it over and over again....

TBH San Diego, you've already shot another idea about new on line sparring partner system. When a rookie has to beat a SP with a very simple FP, after he beats this SP he faces another SP with a bit more difficult FP, etc. All this in real time. Maybe he also trains and gets APs to find out how to build fighters. Till status 5 or 10 (depends on numbers of different level FPs these sparring partners got). Could be several types SPs- counterpuncher, ropist etc. A kind of on line rookies courses. I mean that idea was great imo

Thanks TBH San Diego
I'll just say anything that can or will be done to help the learning curve with fight plan writing will be huge for new guys. Lotsa good ideas have been brought forth and a narrative explanations of choices round to round I think would be a good one.
Agree with Lille's comment on a Rookies course as well.
...Looking forward to this

This isn't that crucial at all, but more for cosmetic purposes...
Instead of the...
Super Weights: Super Welterweight, Super Lightweight, Super Featherweight, etc.
Have the...
Junior Weights: Junior Middleweight, Junior Welterweight, Junior Lightweight, etc.
Then again, this may just be my preference.

A "notes" section for each fighter , kind of like description but for only the manager themselves to see ( have read a number of managers saying they've made fighters & lost track of what they originally intended with them & have been guilty myself over the years )

Could there ever be random number generation in plans ?
something like ( just for example )
let a = 1 to 3
if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 1 then 5h/11/4 if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 2 then 6/7/7 if round = 10 and endurance_percent > 75 and opp < 2 and A = 3 then 12/1/7
or even a cointoss
if toss = head then .....

A)if score > 0 then 4/1/15 (outside); if score = 0 then 4B/8/8 if score < 0 then 7/1/12 (outside);
